Eskeland Advances at Four in the Fall

Picks up pair of wins

Jacob Eskeland picked up a pair wins in singles to lead the efforts of the Rice men's tennis team in the opening day of action at the Crimson Tide Four in the Fall tournament in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Friday.
Eskeland advanced to the semifinals of the Crimson singles draw with wins over Jochen Bertsch of Oklahoma and Ryan Seggermann of Princton.  He will face Tulane's Tim Ruetzel at 12:30 on Saturday.
Action continues on Saturday morning with the second round of doubles action.
