The Rice baseball team hosts longtime rival Texas A&M on Friday (Oct. 26) in a FREE
exhibition beginning at 6 pm at Reckling Park.
Like the Owls' first fall exhibition game a week ago at Sam Houston State, Friday's event is scheduled for 12 innings. As the primary focus of the exhibition is for both teams to continue to train for the upcoming 2019 season, fans can expect to see some game-related changes that are not part of a traditional baseball game. Food truck Off The Leash Hot Dog will be on site to provide concessions. Karbach will have samples and be giving away promotional items. Fans are also encouraged to bring their own food and drink to enjoy during the game.
In the above video new Rice head coach Matt Bragga talks about the Owls' fall training program, last week's exhibition at Sam Houston State, and this Friday's home event vs. Texas A&M.
