Three Men's Hoops Games to Be Televised

HOUSTON — Three men's basketball games have been selected by a trio of networks to be televised during the 2016-17 season.

The December 3 game at former Southwest Conference foe Texas Tech will be televised by Fox Sports Southwest at 1 p.m. It will be the Owls' first appearance on FoxSportsNet since 2013.

Rice will face Pittsburgh on December 17 at 6 p.m. on ACC Network Extra. It will be the first-ever appearance for the Owls on the network.

The Owls will also make their first-ever appearance on beIN Sports when they host Middle Tennessee on January 5 at 7 p.m.

The Conference USA Championship quarterfinals will be televised by ASN on Mar. 9 while the semifinals (Mar. 10) and championship (Mar. 11) will be televised by CBS Sports Network.

Conference USA's national television partners are CBS Sports Network, American Sports Network and beIN SPORTS for regular season games. Games on Campus Insiders and ESPN3 will be announced at a later date. Additional coverage of C-USA basketball will also be available online through CUSA TV, available exclusively on the league's official website

Rice opens the season November 5 when it hosts Our Lady of the Lake at 7 p.m. in an exhibition game. The regular season begins November 13 at James Madison at 1 p.m.
