Track & Field Squads Ready to Compete at C-USA Championships

The 2016 Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships get underway tomorrow (Thursday, May 12) and will last through Sunday, May 15 at Middle Tennessee's Dean Hayes Track & Soccer Stadium in Murfreesboro, TN.

The Rice Owls will be among 23 teams competing (10 men, 13 womens) beginning with the women's heptathlon on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

The entire meet will be streamed for free via the Conference USA Digital Network.

Last season the Rice women placed third at the C-USA Outdoor Championships for their seventh top-three finish since joining the league in 2006. The men's squad placed fourth at last year's outdoor championships.
